Facebook launched their Social Jobs Partnership app today, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Labor, the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), DirectEmployers Association, and the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA).
The app allows you to search for jobs by type and location and share job postings with friends on Facebook. If you find a posting you are interested in, you can open it up in BranchOut — Facebook’s professional networking app — or another partner site.
Facebook’s announcement reads:
“Today, the app launches with employment opportunities provided by BranchOut, DirectEmployers Association, Work4Labs, Jobvite andMonster.com. Together, these developers are offering applicants access to more than 1.7 million jobs currently hosted on Facebook.”
