YR Raw
YRaw offers the inside (and lightly edited) scoop from Youth Radio’s training programs. In the introductory training, high school students produce a weekly radio show on YR Raw. Several stories interweave during 2 days in Los Angeles involving a collection of inter-related characters. A police detective with a drugged out mother and a thieving younger brother, two car thieves who are constantly theorizing on society and race, the white district attorney and his irritated and pampered wife, a racist white veteran cop (caring for a sick father at home) who disgusts his more idealistic younger partner and a black couple with a successful Hollywood director and his wife who must deal with the racist cop.

It is the medias responsibility to report the truth regardless of political ideological bias, in this case the reporter failed to cover the other side of the story and overlooked many key detail.
