Last Thursday we had our first Poetry Slam of the session! If you missed it you missed out! We heard some wise words from Femi, bold words from Desmond, soothing words from Chioma, and we heard Edna’s beautiful voice. Femi explained to us how he didn’t understand how his skin pigment affected others. Desmond read some very nice pieces, Chioma spoke to us about the relationship she envisioned. It was really nice to have Edna back after a year! She sang a song which mesmerized the crowd. The poetry and singing was nice, however, we would love more support from our Youth Radio family and guests! If you missed it come, out and show some love next time.
