I like this song because you’re reflecting on yourself. You’re telling us about how the world is misunderstood and can be violent but you’re proud of where you’re from. It also sounds like you put a lot of effort into what you do. You sound very aware of the world and the things that are going on around you. Going through what you all have been through, you guys all sound very confident in who you are and you aren’t going to stop your grind just because of the things you see and go through every day. I appreciate this song because its not filtered. You are all speaking the reality of this world and what happens, unlike lots of other songs out here today. Many songs never discuss the reality and pain that the world brings today. Many kids are growing up without parents, growing up in the hood, seeing violence everyday and it’s never recognized by anyone. I feel the only people who are cherished, praised, and paid attention to are the famous people who are barely telling the truth in their songs. You all sound very good as a group and should work together more often, it seems like all of you enjoy sharing your personal stories and struggles through song, and I think, most of the time that is the best way to get through all the pain and hurt you see and go through everyday. GREAT COLLABORATION!!
