I don’t want to worry about being taken seriously

All arGender Equalityound the globe, woman fight eagerly in order to gain equal rights. According to makers.com, today, woman working full time only earn about 77% compared to their male coworkers. According to Feminista.com, out of the people in national minimum wage jobs, 70% of those are woman. Along with that,it has been shown that 54% of part time working woman are employed below their potential.  Furthermore, all over the world, 62 million young girls are denied the chance to attend school and get an education.

I believe that gender equality is an extremely important issue that needs more attention than it’s getting. Gender equality is important to me because as a woman, I want to be able to live out my full potential. I want my ideas and opinions to be just as valid as any man’s ideas or opinions. When I get a job, I don’t want to constantly worry about whether or not I’m being taken seriously just because I’m a woman.
