Young Filipino Activists Want ‘Education Over Militarization’

As part of a leadership training program, Filipino student activists drew distressing ties between policies here in the United States and those unfolding in the Philippines where a violent crackdown on drug crimes have led to thousands of arrests and deaths at the hands of that country’s police.
