Bay Area Teens Talk Deportation
Many people are afraid to leave their house because they are afraid of getting deported.
YRaw offers the inside (and lightly edited) scoop from Youth Radio’s training programs. In the introductory training, high school students produce a weekly radio show on YR Raw. Many people are afraid to leave their house because they are afraid of getting deported.
You know that feeling you get when you’re about to kiss someone; or when you finally fall in love…but with the wrong person. It is sort of like that.
I had no idea what I supposed to think, or what had been intended by the guys who made it. I just liked it, all of it. It was thoughtful, catchy, even humorous at times.
Americans are obsessed with solving other people’s problems. We all feel productive when we solve problems, but when we start diminishing people’s problems into small, seeming solvable ones, we start to over simplify them.
Personally I think that no matter what you specify as and what gender you are we all equal but it’s the amount of effort and knowledge you have and put into the field that makes the difference.
Many people, including myself, have avoided trying to do things because they are scared of the consequences and are afraid to step out of their comfort zone.
