On July 12th, Youth Radio’s Remix Your Life program had the pleasure of playing a role in Beast Crawl, an annual free literary festival in Uptown Oakland, RYL participants organized a reading of Youth Radio commentaries, poetry, short stories, songs, and news stories. The event featured the work of Shy’An G (Shyra Gums), Ali Hammad (Salim Boykin), and Savant (Eduardo Zazueta).
