The Awards are a celebration of the most infl
uential leaders in the Bay Area working in the arts and humanities, confronting societal or civic issues, or addressing health or environmental concerns. Nominees are selected for developing programming that is place-based, innovative, makes a measurable difference, exhibits excellent leadership, and leverages partnerships. Winners receive a $20,000 grant from The San Francisco Foundation.
